Does Invven work on mobile phones?
Yes. Invven is a Progressive Web App (PWA). Install it from your browser on iPhone or Android and it works like a native app — including offline access for quotes. Voice to Invoice, barcode scanning, and photo capture all work directly from your phone's camera and microphone.
What countries does Invven support?
Invven supports New Zealand, Australia, United States, United Kingdom, Canada, South Africa, Singapore, and Ireland. It automatically sets your currency, tax label (GST/VAT), date format, and timezone based on your country selection during setup.
Invoicing & Quotes
Can I create an invoice using my voice?
Yes. Simply speak the work completed and Invven converts your voice recording into a professional invoice — line items, quantities, and prices pulled from your inventory automatically. Available on Professional and Business plans.
How does Voice to Invoice work?
Tap the microphone, describe what you did on the job, and Invven's AI extracts the labour, materials, and quantities from your words. It matches items against your inventory, fills in prices, and builds the invoice — ready to send in under 30 seconds. Available on Professional and Business plans.
Can Invven create a quote from a photo?
Yes. Upload a photo of a job site, parts, or materials and Invven's AI suggests relevant items from your inventory to include in the quote. It dramatically speeds up quoting complex jobs. Available on Professional and Business plans.
How does Photo to Quote work?
Take a photo on-site, upload it inside Invven, and the AI analyses the image and pulls matching inventory items into a draft quote. You review, adjust, and send — no typing required. Available on Professional and Business plans.
Can I send invoices from my phone?
Yes. Create, send, and receive payment on invoices entirely from your phone. Invven is mobile-first — every feature including camera scanning, voice capture, and Stripe payments works from your iPhone or Android.
Can Invven send invoices through WhatsApp?
Yes. Invoices can be delivered through WhatsApp for faster customer communication. WhatsApp messaging is available on Professional and Business plans at $0.05 per message sent.
Does Invven support recurring invoices?
Yes. Set up recurring invoices on a weekly, fortnightly, or monthly schedule. Invven automatically generates and sends them — ideal for ongoing retainers, maintenance contracts, and subscriptions. Available on Professional and Business plans.
Can customers pay online?
Yes. Every invoice includes a secure payment link. Customers click, enter their card, and you receive the money directly. Online payments require connecting your Stripe account — it takes about 2 minutes.
Can customers sign quotes digitally?
Yes. Customers can approve and sign quotes electronically via a secure link emailed to them. Once signed, you convert the accepted quote to an invoice with one click. Available on Professional and Business plans.
Can Invven help me get paid faster?
Yes. Automated invoicing, WhatsApp delivery, payment reminders, and AI Payment Risk Analysis all work together to improve cash flow. Customers receive a payment link with every invoice and can pay in seconds.
Does Invven support multiple currencies?
Yes. Invven supports NZD, AUD, USD, CAD, GBP, EUR, and other major currencies. Your currency is set automatically based on your country, and you can send invoices in your customer's currency on Professional and Business plans.
AI Receptionist
What is the AI Receptionist?
The AI Receptionist is an AI-powered phone agent that answers missed calls, greets your customers in a professional NZ voice, collects job details, and logs everything back into Invven as a draft job — so you never miss a lead, even when you're on the tools.
What happens when a call comes in?
Your Twilio phone number rings. If you don't answer, the AI Receptionist picks up. It greets the caller with your business name, asks for their name, contact number, and what they need help with, then creates a draft job in your Invven account and notifies you with a full call transcript.
How much does the AI Receptionist cost?
The AI Receptionist runs on prepaid call credit packs (NZD): Starter Pack — 60 minutes for $29; Standard Pack — 150 minutes for $59; Pro Pack — 300 minutes for $99. You're only charged for time the AI is actually on a call. You'll receive a warning when your balance drops below 20 minutes.
What voice does the AI Receptionist use?
The AI Receptionist uses a natural NZ-accented voice powered by ElevenLabs. It sounds professional and friendly — not robotic. Customers typically assume they're speaking with a real receptionist.
Inventory
Does Invven support inventory management?
Yes. Invven supports unlimited inventory items, barcode scanning, hidden supplier costs, stock levels, and low-stock alerts. Search by product name, description, part code, or scan a barcode — results appear instantly.
Can I manage inventory in Invven?
Yes. Add products and materials with full details — name, description, part code, cost price, sell price, stock level, and reorder point. Items link directly to invoices, quotes, and purchase orders. Stock levels update automatically as you sell.
Does Invven have a barcode scanner?
Yes. Invven includes a built-in barcode scanner that uses your phone's camera. Scan a product barcode to instantly find and add it to an invoice or quote. Supports all standard barcode formats including GS1.
Can I hide cost prices from customers?
Yes. Supplier cost prices are never shown to customers — only your sell price appears on quotes, invoices, and PDFs. Invven shows you the margin and profit on every item, but that information stays private.
Does Invven send low stock alerts?
Yes. Set a reorder point on any inventory item. When stock drops to or below that level, Invven flags the item and can send an automated reorder email to your supplier — saving you from running out of fast-moving parts.
Integrations
Does Invven integrate with Xero?
Yes. Xero integration is supported, allowing invoices and payments to sync between Invven and your Xero account for two-way bookkeeping.
Does Invven integrate with MYOB?
Yes. MYOB integration is supported for syncing invoices and financial data with your MYOB account.
Does Invven integrate with Stripe?
Yes. Connect your Stripe account to accept online payments directly through your invoices. Stripe handles the card processing and deposits directly into your bank account — Invven never touches the funds.
Can I export invoices to PDF?
Yes. Every invoice and quote generates a professional PDF instantly. Starter plans include 2 templates (Classic and Modern). Professional and Business plans include all 10 templates. Download or email the PDF directly from Invven.
Pricing
How much does Invven cost?
Starter is $29/month (1 user, 50 customers). Professional is $79/month (3 users, unlimited customers, all AI features). Business is $159/month (unlimited users and customers, everything unlocked). Annual billing gives you 2 months free.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. Every plan includes a 14-day free trial with no credit card required. You get full access to all features during the trial so you can properly evaluate Invven before committing.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel from your billing settings — no phone calls, no forms. Monthly subscribers can cancel at any time with no penalty. Annual subscribers are billed for the full year upfront.
Do prices include GST?
No. All prices are listed excluding GST. GST of 15% is added at checkout for NZ customers only. Australian, UK, and other international customers are billed at the listed price with no additional tax applied by Invven.
